Dr. Scott H. Russo
Experience
Dr. Russo has been in private practice in northern
California since 1983. Seeing a need for the treatment of
severe disc injuries, Dr. Russo founded the Spinal Health
Institute in 1999. He collaborated with the developers of the
Vertebral Distraction Pump (Disc
Pump) to
develop advanced orthopedic testing that would define disc
injury.
This testing technique, which correlates to a standing MRI
(the gold standard in diagnostic testing), allows doctors to
diagnose the hidden cause of pain. Once diagnosed, Dr. Russo
used the Disc Pump to traction one specific disc at a time.
Results have been overwhelmingly successful.
Dr. Russo is committed to help his patients feel good and
live a fulfilling life. Dr. Russo has seen many types of disc
conditions respond well to the Disc Pump.
